Chengdu Furniture Opens the Simulation Home Environment in the Curtain Exhibition Hall
The 15th Chengdu International Furniture Fair officially kicked off today at the New International Convention and Exhibition Center in Century City, marking the start of the "One Exhibition and Two Phases" format. The first phase, featuring finished furniture, ran from July 3rd to 6th, while the second phase, focusing on production equipment and raw materials, will take place from July 12th to 15th. This innovative approach is expected to set a new record for the largest scale ever seen at a Chengdu furniture exhibition.
Beyond its impressive size, the fair has attracted numerous top-tier domestic brands that are launching new products during the first phase. Industry leaders are also gathering for high-level discussions on the future of China’s furniture industry. From pavilions to product displays and special events, there's something exciting happening everywhere. On July 5th and 6th, the fair will host its "Popular Hot Sale Day," offering the public a chance to explore and purchase the latest designs. Visitors are encouraged to use public transportation to experience the event firsthand.
Looking for style, uniqueness, and inspiration? This year’s exhibition halls are designed with creativity and flair. Hall 7, for instance, features the Emperor’s Standard Home concept, blending grandeur with modern aesthetics and historical charm. The ancient Roman-style castle design offers a glimpse into timeless elegance, making it a must-visit for those seeking home décor ideas.
Exploring space and comfort, Gujia Home showcases a simulated home environment within its pavilion. Using a unified platform design inspired by the automotive industry, the space features a red accent line that allows for flexible customization across different product lines. The interior design reflects current home trends, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere.
In Hall 1, the "Creative Cocoon" area debuts, offering a 500-square-meter space dedicated to innovative soft furniture. Curated by the organizing committee and Western International Furniture Materials Purchasing Center, this section features over 100 works from more than 20 renowned design institutes. The theme focuses on soft furnishings, with designs that are both conceptual and material-driven. Visitors can experience these creative pieces from July 5th to 6th.
Trendwatching is a key highlight, with Gujia Home showcasing the "Hollywood Magical Living Room" sofa—capable of transforming into a bed in seconds, combining space-saving functionality with modern aesthetics. The newly launched 1936 "Awakening" series and a full-leather soft bed inspired by a racing car are also making their debut.
Sustainability takes center stage as well. Xinyue Home’s exhibition hall incorporates eco-friendly materials and modular design elements, allowing for disassembly and reuse. This not only reduces environmental impact but also enhances the visitor experience with a clean and comfortable layout.
Pioneer Furniture is also making waves with its 2014 upgraded Shui Ting series, a modern Chinese-style wood furniture collection that balances aesthetics, structure, environmental friendliness, and cost-effectiveness. The brand’s "Nest Flow" mix-and-match series will also be unveiled, setting a new standard for luxury, fashion, and trendiness in furniture design.
With so much to see and experience, the Chengdu International Furniture Fair is not just an event—it’s a celebration of innovation, design, and sustainability in the world of furniture. Whether you're a professional or a curious visitor, there's something here for everyone.
