New Ink Cold Stamping Technology: K-LASER Cold Stamping Foil

Photon Laser Technology Co., Ltd. recently pointed out that cold stamping technology is a printing technology that uses a printing plate to transfer images to a printing material using a UV-curable ink or adhesive. K-LASER's high-quality cold foil can print holographic images of various colors. The user can select individualized patterns and anti-counterfeiting logos, which has become the main source of production for this technology.

The three steps of cold foil type, printing/coating of ink/adhesive, and graphic design constitute the entire process design. The holographic image is laminated to the cured ink or adhesive using a wet lamination process. When irradiated by a UV lamp, the UV light must pass through the stamping foil to reach the ink layer or the adhesive layer. The cured ink layer and the adhesive layer make the cold stamping. The foil and the printing material are combined, and the non-adhered hot stamping foil is peeled off from the printing material to form a holographic hot stamping graphic.

K-LASER's increasingly mature cold foil products and the appearance of a variety of special effects inks have brought holographic printing more than just the added value and cost reduction of printed products. It is also a revolution in holographic printing.
