Manroland press paper feeding troubleshooting

Most of the products produced by the company are paper products. The substrate uses 250-450g/m2 gray-white board paper, which is easily deformed to produce flounces. When printing on Manroland presses, it mainly depends on the paper above the front gauge. The wheel sends the paper to the pre-pre-quenching teeth. If the paper does not reach the front gauge properly, then there will be an error such as an arbitrage, a paper that cannot reach the front gauge, a pull gauge that is not in place, a paper advance, etc., so the adjustment of the front gauge paper wheel is comparatively finer. important.

The conventional practice is to loosen the fastening nut of the platen roller, insert the three sheets of printing paper under the platen roller, adjust the height of the platen roller eccentrically, and take a slight sense of resistance when pulling out the paper, and then tighten the nut. . However, this adjustment method is only suitable for papers with good flatness and no warping; for papers with poor flatness and warpage, the paper rollers can be pressed tighter.

We also worked out some ways to eliminate paper failures for your reference.

1. Prescriptive regulations
The failure was manifested as: one side of the paper was not in place, one side of the sensor failed to detect the paper, and the misjudgment was arrogant. In fact, the paper was bent. Adjust the front trimming knob to the maximum, that is, the +0.5 point of the scale, so that the front gauge is in the farthest position; then put the pressure gauge on the side of the sensor, which can generally be solved.

2. Paper does not reach the front gauge correctly
There are many reasons for this failure, and the various components that fly from the fly to the front can be the cause of this failure.

(1) Feida. Feeder's separation of paper and paper feed air is insufficient, there is electrostatic adsorption between the paper, the paper lags slightly when the paper is ejected, and the front gauge cannot be properly reached. The solution is to adjust the hair dryer and blow the paper out to ensure a smooth paper exit.

(2) The pressure on the goalball is not uniform. After the paper has been ejected from Feida, it must go through the goal ball to reach the paperboard smoothly. If the pressure on the goalball is uneven or there is no pressure, it will cause the paper to be unstable. The adjustment method is to pull the handwheel to press the gantry ball and adjust the position. Put a 0.2 mm thick plug under the top wire, adjust the top wire so that the pressure of the gantry ball is equal and the size is moderate.

(3) Paperboard. When the paper is transported on the paperboard, due to the suction of the suction belt, a vacuum is easily formed under the paper. If the paper is soft, a large friction force is easily formed and the paper lags behind. The solution is to reduce the suction volume of the paper feeding board, and at the same time, the paper roll can be used to keep the paper position from deviating.

(4) The front gauge roller. The pressure of the platen or paper sheet is too high, so that the paper cannot reach the front gauge, which can be solved by adjusting the high pressure paper wheel or by reducing the pressure of the platen.

(5) pre-regulatory pre-fangs. A total of 9 pre-cavernous teeth were distributed at the anterior stenosis, and were symmetrically distributed in the center. The positioning of the fistula of the paper was completed by these 9 pre-molars. If the paper could not enter the pre-molar, the paper could not reach the front gauge correctly. For example, when the paper appears flounced or warped, sometimes it hits the top of the pre-cushion, and sometimes it will cause the malfunction. The solution is to put pressure paper on the paper and the top of the premolar, or knock the paper to make the paper flat. Thick paperboard can't knock paper like copperplate and offset paper. The number of paperboard knocks should not be too much, 5 times is enough, and it is not necessary to be fan-shaped and folded into parallel lines; the force should not be too heavy, otherwise the cardboard will be broken. As long as you can change its deformation state.
