Amoco used the clear agent Millad 3988 to produce the Acclear series of highly transparent PP by gas phase process. The base resin of this product is usually random copolymer PP. Among them, Acceptar 8649X [MFR 23g/(10min)] PP is suitable for injection-pull-blow moulding bottles with a transparency close to PET bottles, bottled water and beer market. Accear 8249X grade PP is also suitable for extrusion thermoforming and extrusion blow products, the product haze is only 6% to 7%. The high flow grade PP of the Acelear 8940X grades [MFR 55g/(10min)[2]] is suitable for high-speed injection molding of food containers VCD cassettes and other hard-pack materials.
