Improvement of trunk lines and valves in pipeline construction

Some new practices with good results in the construction of gas pipelines include the following aspects:

(1) Cancel the main valve room. In the past, gas, water and moisture were easy to accumulate in the valve room, and insects and wild animals were also easy to invade. This will bring hidden dangers and adverse effects to the safety of pipeline operation. Therefore, the trunk valve chamber is eliminated, and the trunk valve is directly buried in the ground without any facilities, which can also save gas detection equipment and save investment costs.

(2) Increase the maximum allowable operating pressure of the branch pipeline. In the past, the design pressure of the branch pipelines was lower than the design pressure of the trunk pipelines. Therefore, pressure relief devices were installed at the junction of the branch pipelines and the trunk pipelines. In recent years, some branch pipelines have been designed and tested at the same pressure as the main pipeline. This can not only eliminate the expensive decompression facilities at the junction of the branch pipe, but also increase the gas filling capacity of the branch pipe, that is, the gas storage capacity, to meet the hourly peak shaving requirements and meet the needs of new users in the future. Increasing the design pressure of branch pipelines will inevitably increase the ANSI pressure rating and pipeline rating of flanges and valves, and increase some investment. However, it has been proven by multiple pipeline systems that the increased investment is negligible compared with the economic benefits of increased design pressure.

(3) Welding connection is adopted between the valve and the main pipeline, instead of flange connection. Because the flange connection is prone to leakage, once the leakage occurs, the entire pipeline must be closed when repairing. The welding connection can avoid this kind of problem.

(4) Use pipes with continuous concrete coating. In most small rivers and wetland pipe trenches, pipe with continuous concrete coating is used instead of saddle or bolted concrete weights. The use of pipes with continuous concrete coating can not only achieve the purpose of stabilizing the pipe against floating, but also protect the pipe's anti-corrosion coating during installation, reduce the grade requirements of the backfill and improve the economic effect. Continuous concrete coating can be mixed and applied at the construction site.

(5) On-site patching technique. In some places, due to the difficulty of construction, any pipeline company does not use shrink sleeves for the repair of large-diameter pipelines, but uses coatings, such as liquid epoxy coatings, polyurethane coatings, and FBE coatings.

(6) Support of ground pipelines. Place the pipe support under the pipe, not under the valve. The pipe support is adjustable and can be adjusted when the foundation sinks.

(7) Standardization and unitization of measurement equipment. In the newly built ALLIANCE pipeline, only a standard ultrasonic flowmeter is used, which can simplify the operation of the pipeline system and reduce the operation and maintenance costs of the metering equipment.

The Polypropylene Joint for Plastic Infusion Container is made of the imported medical‐class polypropylene; where the material complies with FDA rule and passes the USP CLASS VI test. The joint is produced in the clean plant, with the overall plant reaching to Class 10,000 and some for Class 1,000,000. The main working procedures, such as the injection molding, inspection, cleaning, inner packing and so on, are designed and processed as per the cleanliness requirements at the partial level of Class 100 , which passes the GMP on‐site certification and complies with the cleanliness requirements of high capacity injection medicine.

The surface of production equipment is smooth, flat, and easy to clean and sterilize, with sound corrosion‐resistant property, and inert to make chemical reaction with packing material. The precision and sensitivity of test and inspection instruments comply with the test and inspection requirements of products.

The polypropylene joint for plastic infusion container is mainly used for the pipe of non‐PVC soft‐bag.
