The feeling of packaging design

Packaging design, before this course did not begin, was full of content and breadth of its design. There is a deep feeling about this topic today. For packaging design, even for all design projects, the biggest target group is consumers. Therefore, whether or not a solution that can satisfy both consumers and manufacturers can become a topic that contemporary designers must consider and study. . The five-week packaging design class, although short-lived, I still hope to learn the essence of packaging design, it sounds like a distant idea, but I think this is not only an idea, for me It's more like a goal, and it's what keeps me motivating.

In the first two weeks of the packaging class, we personally made a complete package and became familiar with the importance of packaging for a product. At the same time, we learned about the elements and prerequisites that some packaging must have. In the next three weeks free choice of topics, I did not hesitate to choose the tea packaging, some people asked me why I chose such a troublesome topic, and my answer is very sure, since the teacher did not give us a problem, I gave myself It is a challenge to test yourself and test your strength. In fact, in my previous study, I always wanted to find a way to express the traditional and the modern side by side. The packaging design of tea can fully serve as the carrier of this approach. Therefore, in the following creative conception, I used four The word always runs through my entire design.

In the initial stage of my creation, I collected a lot of information about tea. Now it seems that what I did was still somewhat futile because at that time I did not identify my target brand. I just went to the mall to look at the supermarket; however, There are also losses and gains. In the process of inquiring me, a person who never drinks tea also has a deeper understanding of tea, a traditional Chinese drink.

After a thousand selections, I chose the pressed tea that best demonstrated the characteristics of the external packaging. However, Pu'er Tea, the representative tea that pressed the tea, aroused my strong curiosity; , I chose "Tianjiao tea." So in the ensuing hours, I spent a lot of time collecting all aspects of the "pressing tea", "pu'er tea", and "sky tea" and accumulated a large amount of information in the brain. Tea, Coke and coffee are the world's top three beverages. The world consumes 500 grams of tea each year. Japan and other countries consume 1200 grams of tea each year. One third of the world's people drink tea and at least half of the tea drinkers. Know Pu'er tea. Pu'er tea is a world-famous world famous tea and is a regional tea that cannot be copied. In June 2002, at the China Pu'er Tea International Academic Symposium held in Xishuangbanna, experts and scholars from various countries defined the concept of Pu'er Tea: Pu'er Tea is a famous tea produced in the origin of tea trees in the Lancang River Basin of Yunnan Province. Pu'er Tea is The special tea produced from the fresh leaves of Yunnan Daye species of tea leaves is raw materials. Pu'er tea is a post-fermented tea made from Yunnan Dayeye sun-dried tea, which is fermented slowly and artificially. At the same time, it should also have the complete appearance of the pu'er tea, which is thick and full of hypertrophy, with a reddish brown or slightly grayish white color; a rich, bright and rich aroma of endoplasmic soup with rich aromas, brown red leaves, and a mellow taste. After getting a lot of relevant information, I started to work on specific designs.

This time, the packaging design is a series of designs. At least three patterns are designed for a theme series. According to the survey, Pu'er tea is divided into loose tea and pressed tea from the variety, special grades of tea and one to ten grades and extra grades. Tea, pressed tea has cakes, bricks, oysters, columns, gourds, human heads and other shapes, so I chose the most representative of the three kinds: brick tea, cake tea and tea.

For the color design of the tea packaging, I have also carefully screened and finalized the draft. The color is the most appealing to the customer in the packaging design. If the colors are properly matched, the consumer will have a pleasant feeling after watching and can cause Consumer attention. In the three colors, I eventually chose the green color of the tea, the brown color of the Pu'er tea, and the orange color that gives a sense of security.

In the image design of tea packaging, I chose to use pattern-based, text-based features, and collected a large number of Chinese traditional patterns, because tea itself is one of the most traditional things in China, so how to close the two together? Combining together and showing the integrity of the product is the most critical issue. Some patterns on the packaging are old and cumbersome. They are not strong in terms of commodities. They also lack the sense of the times. They are repetitive and have no personality. Ancient patterns such as dragons and phoenixes are used everywhere. The tradition is not retro, and it is not copied. The nationality is not painting dragons and painting a phoenix. It means that new content, new life, and new forms should be given to it. A spirit should be incorporated into it. A kind of charm should be embodied. Therefore, what kind of form composition is used to reflect the aura of tea should become the most important part of the entire design process. I think that tradition should be a style. It is a fashion, more symbolic, and more concise. At the same time, it is also very consistent with the personality of tea.

I personally think that the elements of color, pattern, and text in tea packaging design are closely related to the product. The most critical issue is how to accurately and quickly deliver product information. This is a problem that designers must put in the first place. This is also a problem. A standard to measure whether a package design is outstanding. I also completed the entire design in line with this standard.

In order to subvert the tradition, if you want to impress consumers, the packaging should also be improved. It looks more noble and stylish, and it gives consumers the same feeling as perfume and cosmetics. At first glance, they feel very high-grade and quality. Recommendations can be advertised on print media, highlighting the "fine, high quality, noble, sensual" characteristics, such as two young and stylish women, drinking afternoon tea, holding exquisite teapots, and creating an elegant atmosphere. Or, like the summer fruit tea advertisement, a new fruit-flavored black tea is promoted, and the theme is subtly translated from the traditional description to a vivid description of adolescent activities. Changing traditional concepts, blending tradition and modernity perfectly will become my goal in the future.
