[WSP] Hello everyone, I am the assistant designer of Wei Siping (Tan Shanlong). I am honored that I can participate in the Baidu project. I am very happy to share it with you today.
[Reporter] Well, before introducing the case, first of all, I have a few small questions to ask Tan. How long have we experienced from receiving this project to the final bid?
[WSP] is about six weeks, and the specific calculation should be 46 working days.
[Reporter] What is the biggest difference between the Beijing Baidu R&D Center bid and the Shenzhen one?
[WSP] I think the biggest difference is that its specific function is not the same.
From Baidu, the building in Shenzhen is a super high-rise, consisting of two towers, a 150-meter, 180-meter-high building, which is a headquarters of the region. The plan we won in Beijing is Beijing's R&D headquarters. The positioning is different, and it is very different from the body shape. We are now 170,000 square meters on the floor, seven stories high, and the height is about 30 meters. Low-rise office space.

Now in this program, the core idea is to create a green home for a big company like Baidu. This is the basic idea of ​​our design.
[Reporter] Well, did you encounter some difficulties in the initial surveying process?
[WSP] Yes, the ground as a basic starting point has brought us a big challenge.
This land has a feature. It is a software park in Zhongguancun. It consists of three plots. This has brought a big challenge, because we have to think about how to treat these three plots as a whole. And this whole is like the feeling of the home I just said. It is not three homes. If it is three independent homes, we will not be able to build a strong and strong home expression on the three plots.
