A medium-density fiberboard plant of the forest industry system is a large-scale board enterprise with an annual output of 50,000 m3. It uses wood chips as raw materials for production, and uses a heat mill to grind the fibers and presses the hot press to produce medium-density fiberboard. The belt conveyor directly bears the transportation task of the wood chip. The quality of the installation of the equipment directly relates to the production efficiency of the whole system and the economic benefits of the plant.

1 belt conveyor introduction

The plant has a total of seven belt conveyors with a total length of about 300m. Each belt conveyor consists of a head, a middle, and a tail. The head is composed of a head roller and a support frame; the middle portion is composed of a support frame, a limit roller, a guide roller, a tension roller, etc.; the tail portion is composed of a tail roller, a support frame, an adjusting device and the like. The equipment is characterized by heavy, high and large, and its design is compact and reasonable, with high automation, complex internal structure and high installation precision.

2 belt conveyor installation

The installation work is divided into the following three steps.

2.1 Basic retest and release

Due to the large construction error of civil engineering, the basic retest is essential in the installation process of the belt conveyor. Firstly, according to the construction drawing and the reference line given by the civil engineering, the projection center line of the belt conveyor should be measured to see if it is offset. If there is offset, it should be re-corrected to make the error control within ±3mm. Secondly, each branch is determined according to the center line. Whether the position of the foundation is correct, and whether the area of ​​the support pad meets the requirements, and draw the center line of the footboard of the conveyor bracket on the support pad; finally, according to the 0m line given by the civil engineering unit, the basis of each branch is re-measured by the water level meter. The elevation. If the elevation is low, the steel plate can be padded until the error of the design elevation is within ±5mm. The connection between the steel plate and the ground plate is welded by the V-shaped glass mouth, and the welding foot reaches the thickness of the steel plate; if the elevation is high, The civil engineering unit should remove the foundation and re-cast it.

2.2 Head, tail and intermediate support installation

First lift the head and tail with the crane, position the equipment according to the laid-out basic line, and use the line and level to find the verticality and level of the equipment. The grounding plate is welded to the embedded plate by a qualified welder to secure the device. Then, install the intermediate support frame. In order to save manpower, material resources and financial resources, the segmented lifting method should be used as much as possible, and a large number of aerial work should be moved to the ground to complete. How to ensure that the plane on each segment bracket is on a line, avoiding the step shape is a difficult point in the construction on site. The solution is to hang a heavy object from both ends of a Ø0.7mm wire, hang it at the center of the head roll and the tail roll, and then determine the height of the roll on the intermediate support frame according to the wire.

2.3 belt installation

When installing, it is often limited by the site, making it difficult to use construction machinery. For transporters designed with a fixed angle, the belt should be inserted from the upper end and the belt should be pulled into place with special clamps and chain hoists. When bonding, the belt at the interface should be cut to 1/2 thickness, and the adhesive should be applied. The two ends are firmly locked with special clamps to avoid loosening of the belt. After the hammer is hit with a hammer, the weight is pressed. The lap length should be no less than 1.0m. Pay attention to the ambient temperature when bonding, and take it when the temperature is too low.

3 belt conveyor debugging and handling of common problems

1 Firstly, check whether the transporter bracket is installed firmly, whether there are missing weld joints, and check whether the rotation of the limit roller, tension roller and guide roller is flexible one by one, and whether the active roller and the driven roller are filled with oil.

After the above 2 is confirmed, the active roller motor is started by jogging. If the relay trips, it must not be forced to start. It should be checked whether the rain in the driving roller motor is short-circuited. After the jog is correct, the drive roller motor can be started normally.

3 During normal operation, adjusting the belt is a difficult point in this step. If the belt is deflected, adjust the adjustable nut at the tail. If the adjustment is invalid, check whether the guide roller is installed correctly. If necessary, guide the roller at one end. Cut, shift, and weld. If the belt is too tight or too loose, adjust the tension roller to make it elastic.

During the commissioning process, the trial team should be composed of professionals, and each professional division is responsible for handling any abnormal phenomena that may occur at any time. After normal start-up, if there is no abnormality, it can run continuously for 8h and then stop, ready to participate in the joint trial operation of the whole system.
