Using a temperature and humidity test chamber is an essential part of many quality control and research processes. Here's a step-by-step guide to help you operate the device effectively.
1. Check the water level in the humidity tank and clean the water bottle. Fill it with distilled water to prevent mineral buildup and ensure smooth operation. Attach the rubber tube to the faucet and block it to avoid sediment entering the system.
2. Set the desired temperature or temperature-humidity combination on the control panel and turn on the power switch of the device.
3. Adjust the dry bulb temperature by unscrewing the temperature adjustment cap. Set the temperature slightly higher than the required test value. The display is for reference only; the actual temperature should be confirmed using a dry bulb thermometer.
4. Start the heating process by switching the power selection switch to position "2". Once the chamber reaches the target temperature, switch it to position "1" to reduce temperature fluctuations during the constant temperature phase.
5. Adjust the water tank temperature to control humidity levels. Typically, the water tank temperature should be 1-2°C lower than the working chamber temperature. Wait until both the chamber and water tank reach their set values before starting the test.
6. Place the test specimen inside the chamber once everything is operating normally. Ensure it is positioned correctly for optimal testing conditions.
7. After completing the test, turn off the power supply, disconnect the hose from the chamber, and drain any remaining water to maintain the equipment’s longevity.
